CEVAΣ Forepart of the river-god Gelas, in the form of a man-headed bull, to right. Jenkins, Gela, Group I, 80 (O24/R39). SNG ANS 17 (same dies). Lightly toned and with a beautiful reverse. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die and with light porosity, otherwise, very fine.
